House Rules
1. Safety & Security

Entry and exit doors are kept closed and locked at all times

No weapons, drugs, or drug paraphernalia allowed on the property
-
Residents sign in and out when leaving, for safety and accountability
-
Staff may inspect rooms and belongings at any time for the safety of all residents
2. Curfew & Quiet Hours
-
House curfew applies Sunday–Thursday and Friday–Saturday, with earlier curfew on weeknights
-
Quiet hours run overnight — TVs off, headphones for devices, no disturbances to other residents
-
Residents with work schedules that conflict with curfew can request accommodations through house leadership
3. Guests & Visitors

Overnight guests are not permitted
-
Guests are limited to common areas and must leave by curfew
-
Guests cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
4. Substance-Free Environment

No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed on the property
-
Smoking permitted in designated outdoor areas only
-
Random drug/alcohol testing applies (recovery houses only)
5. Chores & Shared Spaces
-
All residents share in daily upkeep of the home through assigned chores
-
Common areas and personal spaces are expected to be kept clean and orderly
-
Kitchen and shared spaces have set hours and expectations for cleanup after use
6. Respect & Community Conduct
-
No violent, aggressive, or threatening behavior, at any time
-
No harassment or offensive language directed at residents, neighbors, or staff
-
Residents respect each other's privacy and personal space
-
Borrowing money or property between residents is not permitted
7. Program Participation (recovery houses only)
-
Regular attendance at recovery support meetings is expected
-
Residents maintain an active relationship with a sponsor
-
Participation in outpatient treatment, as applicable
8. Accountability & Consequences
-
Most rule violations follow a documented warning process, discussed with the resident's case manager
-
Serious violations — weapons, violence, drug/alcohol possession — result in immediate dismissal from the home
-
Residents are always treated with dignity throughout this process, and have access to a grievance policy if they disagree with a decision
